Rodeo time

Every year on MLK day we go to the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver with Steve's family. This year, Steve wasn't feeling well, so he stayed home with Andrew and I took the boys. They always get excited about getting dressed up in their cowboy shirts and boots. They were disappointed they didn't have cowboy hats. Oh well. The boys love looking at the cattle and horses.

They have all sorts of booths with fun stuff to look at and do.

They have a booth where they have a huge bull and horse that kids can sit on and get their pictures taken. Of course it costs too much money, so we just looked at all the "spares" in the stable. As we were looking at the last one, they came to get the bull out. He was pretty impressive right in front of me! I came up to his shoulder!

They have all sorts of small animals on display.

The rodeo is really fun too!

After the rodeo we all go to Cinzzetti's. I think we look forward to that each year as much as the rodeo! It's a fabulous Italian buffet with more choices than you could imagine, including the dessert! I wish I had gotten a picture of all of us there. It was really fun to just visit and eat. The perfect way to end the day. :)
